LIGHT-ALLOY HOSE COUPLINGS

ARANGE of light-alloy hose couplings has been produced by the . Compoflex Co., Ltd., 26 Grosvenor Gardens, London, S.W.1. The new products are being tested by various oil and chemical companies.

A brass 21-in. female tailpiece with loose nut weighs about 3 lb. A similar aluminium component weighs only some 13 oz.

ANSWERS TO ICE

The product has been satisfactorily tested by The Commercial Motor.

The company's Screenwash, obtainable in tins at 3s.. 6d. each, is for addition to the reservoir of a windscreen washer to prevent freezing and to disperse ice from the windscreen.
