Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Tte Driver Hour Guard Timer is a new digital timer designed specifically for the road transport industry. It's purpose is to help he HGV driver stay within EC driver's hours legislation. Multidrop drivers will be able to keep an accurate account of their actual driving times simply by pressing the Other Work button when starting to carry out that task. The Hour Guard Timer has a built in microprocessor which calculates all the times recorded by the driver.

It constantly shows the current time, the bottom of the display shows the time spent in that mode. While carrying out other work, the Driver Hour Guard constantly updates the time that the driver's 45-minute break is required. The driver no longer needs to calculate how much driving time has been carried out, and by what time his break must be taken. By simply pressing the Search Info Button, lots of useful information becomes available to the user. The Hour Guard will keep the driver informed of how much driving has been carried out this week, and will also display how much driving time is available for the rest of the week.

The Hour Guard will store last week's driving time total in it's memory and subtract it from 90 hours so the driver knows the maximum driving time he or she can do this week while staying within the 90-hours per fortnight law. When the user is approaching a required break, the Hour Guard will give an audible warning advising the driver to find a safe parking place to start his break. Even if the user decides to take split breaks of 15 minutes minimum, the Hour Guard can display how much time is required to complete the break legally. The Hour Guard will keep the user informed about the available nine-hour reductions and ten hour extensions available, helping the driver to get the most out of his working day. Even the user's daily rest periods are recorded to ensure the minimum nine hours are taken. The timer will not allow the user to end his rest period until the law has been complied with. The driver can cancel the daily break of 15 minutes, should a reason occur, by holding the Daily Break button in for three seconds. Any time amassed for that break period would be disregarded, therefore the legal requirement of 15 minutes would again become due.

The Driver Hour Guard case is manufactured from tough ABS injection moulded plastic, and comes complete with a pocket clip and air vent clip, which clips to most truck air vents.

Two AAA batteries are included with two LR44 button cells also included to act as a power backup while changing batteries etc.
