• On Thursday 23 August at t.00hrs a woman was attacked and raped close to the M20 motorway in Kent. The 31-year-old woman's silver Volkswagen Golf car had broken down between junctions 4 and 5 on the coast-bound section of the motorway at Aylesford. She had climbed the motorway bank on to Station Road to get help, when a lightcoloured ear with a black spoiler containing at least two men stopped. The occupants offered her assistance but she declined and walked some 400 metres further, making a telephone call for help. On returning to her car she was attacked and raped.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw her break down on the M20, or the lightcoloured saloon in Station Road or in the Aylesford area.
