Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Two MAN-VW truck dealerships in the South of England will cease to operate from the end of September.

They are Kennings Truck Centre at Marks Tey, near Colchester and Dovercourt Park Royal in London.

Kennings will, however, continue to operate a full Volkswagen car and light commercial vehicle dealership in Chelmsford. Dovercourt Park Royal will also operate as a Volkswagen Service Centre for both cars and light commercials.

Commenting on the closure, MAN-VW director Richard Ide said, "Kennings at Marks Tey was a relatively young MANVolkswagen dealership and had made great strides over recent months.

"The decision to close it resulted from a change in priorities following the takeover of the Kenning Motor Group by Tozer Kernsley Millbourn in May. The closure affects a number of car and commercial vehicle dealerships with a variety of different franchises."

"Dovercourt Park Royal was a very different case," according to Ide.

There were strong representation to the north, west and south of London with S & B Commercials, Cordwallis Commercials and MV Trucks. "There are no plans to find a replacement for Dovercourt Park Royal," Ide added.
