• Just before the start of the tourist season, the weight limit for buses in Austria was increased from 16 tonnes to the usual international maximum weight of 17.6 tonnes. This amendment will make life easier for German bus and coach drivers who will no longer be afraid of being turned away at the Austrian border because their vehicles are overweight.
