• A number of special sixaxle Mercedes rigid chassis with concrete pumps are about to be shipped to the USA. Designated MB 5436 rigids, they are built as five-axle units by MB specialist subsidiary NAW in Switzerland, then fitted with a self-steering trailing axle with air suspension by Dautel of Heilbronn. The first, fourth and fifth axles are all powered.
