THREE diesel engines, suitable for automotive application, will be exhibited by Dorman Diesels Ltd, at Earls Court. Two of the exhibits, the 8JT and 8FT, are the most recent models in the company's respective ranges of high-speed water cooled engines while the 6DA is an air-cooled unit.

The 8JT is a 90° V8 of 13.3 litres (810cu in) capacity

turbocharged to 246kW (330 bhp) at 2,200rpm. Dorman introduced the first 8J for the automotive market at the 1970 Commercial Motor Show where it appeared naturally aspirated. The 8FT is a smaller V8 of
