A NEW organization catering for the needs of private bus operators throughout Eire has been formed. Known as the Private Association of Motor Bus Owners, it has offices at 19 Grafton Street, Dublin.
The aim, says secretary Mr Enda O'Carroll, is to improve the general position of the private bus operator and to promote an improved transport policy for the country.
The Association will also be dealing with restrictive legislation, rising fuel costs, high insurance rates and the near monopoly of CIE in public transport, as well as new EEC regulations.
