Terence Goldrick, 41, has been appointed to the new post of Traders Road Transport Association chief engineer. Mr. Goldrick will be responsible for the engineering aspects of the goods vehicle maintenance inspection service, and also for developing and extending the Association's technical advisory services. In addition Mr. Goldrick, who takes up his appointment on September 1, will play a key role in the Association's negotiations with the MoT, vehicle manufacturers and the motor trade. He joined Bulmers Ltd. as fleet engineer in 1957 and has been distribution manager since 1967. Previously he was senior technical assistant in the development department of Birmingham Midland Motor Omnibus Co. Ltd. From 1950 Mr. Goldrick, who was born at Leyland, Lancs, was a graduate apprentice with Leyland Motors Ltd.
