AN accompanying illustration shows one of a fleet of Guy Arab oilers which Duple Motor Bodies, Ltd., The Hyde, Hendon, London, NM.9, is shipTing for Overseas Motor Transport, Ltd., 120, Pall Mall, London, S.W.!, for use in East Africa. This particular one is for Kenya Bus Services, Ltd., Mombasa.

The chassis is an export-model Arab and the body a double-compartment type, having two entrances, and first and second classes. Body, framework is of teak or similar timber and special attention is paid to ventilation by the use of a double roof, special dual cant-rails and ventilating panels, roof ventilators and double-lined insulated side panels.

Exterior panels are of aluminium. First-class seats are upholstered in leather, with tubular frames, and second-class seats are of wood "slatted construction. There is an eight-day clock in a glass case on the front bulkhead and the floor is covered with heavy linoleum. Rear bumpers are supplied, and waist-rail and roof destination boards, in addition to from and rear destination indicators. Side windows are of the half sliding type. Finish is in green and cream, with a black waist line. The bus is a business-like job, but handsome in spite of its rugged character.
