Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Stanclards—rthat's what we seem to have let slip; we've got out of the habit of complaining when complaining is justified. But not all of us have given up and the success pf a CM staff mom last week may encourage others to follow suit.

Spending the night in a Cheshire hotel our man worked his way through a modest three-course dinner, most of which had very obviously been left in the deep freeze too long.

He retired to bed to spend an indigestion-troubled night. At 5.30am the night porter began putting .out the refuse, at 6pm the refuse colleotion squad arrived to stock-pile the stuff.

"Excuse me," said the CM man from his bedroom window. "Do you really need to make all that noise?"

"There'll be a lot more noise when the refuse lorry arrives," came the reply. There was, but it was our man who made it. The hotel refunded 33 per cent of his bill and have re-arranged their refuse collection times to more civilized hours.

It's one way to lift standards.
