HEAVY DUTY-tipping semitrailers with centre-pivot twospring bogies and designed primarily for Middle-East markets have been announced by Cravens Homalloy.
Available in lengths of up to 1 lm (33ft) the tippers have a maximum carrying capacity of 21cum (27.5cuyd). The steel body has 6.3mm (0.3in) thick sides and ends, with a 9.5mm (0.4in) thick floors.
Rated up to 34.5 tonnes (34 tons) the two-spring bogie has inverted leaf springs that are linked to each axle through a rubber block mounting.
Examples from the new trailer range will be on show at the RHA Tipping Convention, which opens at Harrogate today. The exhibition closes on Sunday.
