The first of its kind the 57-seat Supercruiser, has recently been purchased by J. B. Tatlock & Sons Ltd, Ratcliffe, Manchester, who started discussions on producing a high-floor body by Plaxtons a year ago at the Nice International Coach Rally.

Modifications on the new-style 12-metre vehicle included the body and floor being raised by 300mni giving a flat floor, no intrusions of the wheelarches and passenger visibility greatly improved. Locker space was increased by approximately 60 per cent.
