buses in the face of inflation, crisis and recession is the topic for the IRU (International Road Transport Union) congress in Geneva next month.
Under the heading Road Transport: The Driving Force of Progress the IRU is to set out to prove the necessity of lorries and buses in the functioning of society. The congress will also hear the results of research carried out in America into the uses of energy. The IRU will also be making proposals on the use of energy in road transport.
Among the delegates attending the congress will be former Swiss Confederation president Mr Roger Bonvin.
