Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A FORD A0609 chassis-cab forms the basis of a lightweight mixer being operated by Mini-Mix Concrete Ltd of Rainham, Essex. The mixer unit is made by an Italian company, Comet Opera SpA, and has a capacity of I.5cum (about 2 cuyd).

The quantities required for most domestic deliveries are normally too small to make the use of a conventional mixer unit worth while. The Mini-Mix unit has all the features of the full-sized version, but scaled down.

A crab-bucket for the selfloading of aggregate is provided as well as a tank for 400 litres (8.8gal) of water. Water can be loaded on to the unit by means of a self-priming pump, as long as the source is clean. The mixer drum can also be hydraulically tipped to cater for any gradients which may be encountered.

The power is provided by an Edbro hydraulic pump driven from the standard gearboxmounted pto.

The A-Series chassis has a gvw of 6.3 tonnes and is powered by Ford's York sixcylinder 3.5-litre (214cuin) diesel engine developing 66kW (89bhp) at 3,600rpm.
