Edwards, sales manager of Telma Lt as probably the first big occasion wht Telma Electric brake retarders had be fitted to underfoot-engined vehicles ; opposed to front-engined coaches wi long prop shafts.
Guests were taken on a demonstratit run over the North Yorkshire Moors, in Leyland Leopard with Plaxton Coachwor which participated in the Brighton Rally la weekend and is owned by Wallace Arno Tours, who now have 40 vehicles fitted wi Telma retarders.
