Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOUR of these demountable tanks for road/sea transport are shortly to go into service on the Irish routes of Coast Lines Ltd. To provide added strength in resisting the external effects of continuous handling and an internal discharge pressure of 30 p.s.i., the twin-shell stainless steel structure is reinforced with rigid polyurethane foam manufactured by J. Bibby and Sons Ltd.

The foam is injected into the space between the two skins to a density of approximately 2/21 lb. per cu. ft., providing thermal insulation as well as strength.

The tanks will be used to transport latex rubber, cooking fats, synthetics and non-corrosive chemicals and their design is the result of close collaboration between Universal Boilers and Engineering Ltd. (the makers), J. Bibby and the road transport engineers of the Coast Lines group.
