the House this week urged Mr. Fraser to publish the report of the inquiry into transport co-ordination by lord Hinton.
Opposition spokesman Mr. Thomas Galbraith said it was thoroughly unsatisfactory for the Minister to take the " kudos" for appointing a well-known figure to carry out the investigation and then, by. making him a civil servant, muzzling him so that nobody knew what advice he had given. Lord Hinton should be free to make his report public.
From the Government side Mr. George Strauss asked Mr. Fraser to make some special arrangement so that Lord Hinton could give Parliament and the public some idea of his conclusions and recommendations.
Both pleas met with no response from Mr. Fraser.
