the Road Haulage Association on Wednesday it was reported that a reply had been sent to the Ministry of Transport, which had asked the RHA for its views on the proposals to control the use of radio telephones in motor vehicles (see page 33).
The Association has pressed strongly that the exceptions covering vehicles being used for fire brigade. ambulance or police purposes, and taxicabs, should be extended to commercial vehicles and cars or other vehicles being used for security purposes that were fitted with fixed microphones.
