THE Distillers Company is using new artics running at up to 30 tons g.t.w. carrying 20 tons of palletized yeast from the Bristol factory to regional depots. Seen here coupled to a new AEC Mandator is one of two 33-ft. York Freightmaster IBTH van semitrailers just supplied by University Commercials Ltd. To ensure a constant temperature of 28°F to 34°F a ThermoKing MT200G unit is used, running on Calor gas. The Freightmasters are plated for 27 tons gross trailer weight.
