Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

" In the course of a general haulage business I sometimes undertake small removals. Is it necessary to insure the effects being carried? If so, in what respect and what is the premium? Is the insurance paid by myself or by the customer? "

You are not compelled to insure a load of furniture, but you most certainly should do so, following the practice of all good furniture removers. If you are regularly undertaking furniture removals you should take out a" goods in transit" insurance policy to cover you for a year. The amount of the premium cannot be quoted without some knowledge of the extent of the work, but a good insurance broker will give you approximate quotations. The insurance is paid by you.
