• Duckhams is to launch a new oil aimed at the van user which is suitable for both petrol and diesel engines.
The oil called Van Guard is said to have better soot handling capability than normal diesel lubricant to cope with stop start delivery work. Against petrol engine oil, Van Guard has improved anti-wear additive to cope with higher bearing loads in the diesel engine of a laden van.
Van Cuard will be available in live litre cans from independent fuel stations and take-out retailers.
