• The latest hand-operated displacement pump from Ernest H Hill has been given a Design council award. The Hill Model 950 pump is made form polypropylene with polythene piston, valves and nitrile seals. It pumps oil with a viscostiy of up to SAE90. Each stroke dispences about 0-3 litres and the uptake pipe is telescopic to cater for tanks up 900mm deep. Hill claims its pump at £21-60 is significantly cheaper than metal competitors.
