Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Tipmaster has launched a tail-lift for one-tonne pickup trucks. The Tommy Lift weighs 136kg and will lift a 400kg load. With an 838mindeep load platform constructed from 12-gauge steel, the cantilever design replaces the existing tailgate.

A fitting kit is provided and Tipmaster claims that installation is relatively easy, but it is also setting up a network of franchised fitters.

The Tommy Lift was designed with the Carriage of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations in mind which, if enforced, would mean that individuals would not be expected to lift more than 22.7kg (50Ib).

The lift is operated by an electro-hydraulic system installed behind the rear panel. Other features include kerbside controls, a key-operated lock, a double cable system and a pressure relief valve to prevent overloading.

Price is £995 (ex-VAT); Tipmaster is based at Rigg Approach, Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, London El0 7QN.
