• Pony Express is extending its same-day "desk-to-desk" parcels service to four more cities, undercutting current express parcels courier rates by about 75%.
London-Cambridge and London-Norwich services are on trial, charging £15 a delivery. Managing director Mark Smith says the other two routes — London-Southampton and Bristol-Birmingham — will be running by September.
