Revamped in 2009 with a freshen up of the interior and some performance enhancements, the Ford Ranger is manufactured in Malaysia and is also offered with a Mazda badge. where it takes the name BT50. Ranger has a great reputation as a hard-working, durable product, but its low on thrills and doesn't offer the comfort of some of the others on trial.
That said, the engine performance is excellent and very responsive under the right boot when asked to get you out of trouble.
