Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HAVING JUST READ your article on heavy haulage tractors in Germany (CM 12 August), 1 feel most readers appreciate accuracy and I would like to draw your attention to the section praising the abilities of the 16.2-litre, V8 Man TGX 41.680 (below).

It is indeed an outstanding machine, but MAN does not make `vee' engines for truck applications (solely due to low volumes of vehicles in this range).

These engines are bought from its German neighbour, Liebherr, known for its range of construction machines such as concrete plants, truck mixers to cranes, etc.

Gloucestershire Editor's note: While Mr Probert is strictly correct, MAN markets trucks with the big Liebherr VS wider its own name, like any other bought-in component.
