• Citroen has introduced a complete 6x2 car transporter/ recovery vehicle based on its C25 Relay chassis-cab unit. The D1400 chassis-cab has an AL-K0 Kober low height chassis grafted on, converting it to 6x2 configuration, and is fitted with an electro-hydraulic slide/tilt body, winch, ramps and wheel stops. With Citroen's 25-litre 70kW (95hp) turbodiesel the transporter has a payload of 1.4 tonnes at 15 tonnes GVW.
Intended primarily for Citroen car dealers, the vehicles are also on sale to other operators: the list price is £18,954 (ex-VAT).
