VW debut

VOLKSWAGEN has launched its first diesel engine for industrial use.

Developed from the Golf engine, it develops 33kW (45bhp) at 4,000rpm from a capacity of 1,471cc (90cuin).

It is a four-cylinder watercooled design with a beltdriven overhead camshaft and swirl combustion chamber design. The weight of the unit is 129kg (2831b).

Vehicle lift
