IN A MAJOR STEP to improve penetration of the world's largest diesel engine market, CAV is to begin manufacturing diesel fuel injection equipment in the United States.
This will be the first automotive manufacturing venture by the Lucas group in North America where only 10 per cent of lorries in the 16 to 24 tons gvw class currently use diesel engines.
