IPROVED facilities for lorry [rivers and better lorry handling ielped attract further business o Dover, the town's harbour ooard says.
In the first eight months of this ,ear, there was a 22 per cent ncrease in the number of lorries ising the port, and in August reight traffic rose by 14.9 per ent compared with the same nonth last year.
It added that it is pressing for urther improvements to be nade to Customs clearance irrangements.
