Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THREE DRIVERS convicted of falsifying tachograph records while working for Holyheadbased Gareth Jones Transport in 2003 have had their LGV driving licences revoked and been disqualified from holding such a licence fora period of six months. The three were appearing before Welsh TC David Dixon.

Paul Hunt,of Holyhead, had been convicted of nine offences, with another three taken into account, and was fined £500 by the Wirral Magistrates.

Christopher Lunt, of Abergele, Conwy, was convicted 0113 offences and lined £3,3(X).

William Williams, of Llangefni, Anglesey, was convicted of nine offences and lined £500.

Hunt said it had just been a case of getting the job done and the missing mileage was minimal. He had been moving1railers around but could not explain why he did not record his driving. He left the company after six months as he could not physically do the job. He said he had been under too much pressure from the shipping line they worked for. He admitted knowingly breaking the law by pulling the fuse out of his tachograph.

I Ault said he had worked for Jones for five months. He was asked to do things he did not really want to do. He just did a little hit extra. He claimed the pressure came from Jones and Norfolk Line, which was why he packed it in. It was mostly a case of moving a couple of miles with the fuse out.

Williams said he had been unemployed since Gareth Jones ceased trading. Nobody would employ him because of the convictions. On one trip he had used two tachograph charts and on others he had pulled the fuse. He had been on timed deliveries and he claimed there had been a lot of pressure from Norfolk Line. He had not reported it to Jones as he did not want to appear to be a troublemaker.
