• Carrier Transicold has launched the Xarios range of direct-drive refrigeration units for urban delivery vehicles operating in ambient temperatures as high as 30°C.
The Xarios 400 and 500 are suitable for fresh or frozen applications using R404a as the refrigerant with a cooling capacity up to 4,770W. They also use a proprietary hot gas system to provide up to 4,400W of heating.
Noise levels are lower, and the outer casings are made from recyclable materials. The Xarios models share many components for easier fleet maintenance.
