• Power Platform Services based in Surrey has bought its first Skyking 229TJ access platform from King Trailers. It has been fitted to an lveco Ford 75E15. The company required a telescopic boom with zero "swing out', which was light and compact enough to be fitted to a 7.5-tonne truck and did not require an HGV licence-holder to drive it. The Skyking 229TJ has a 22-metre height range and can be operated 13 metres away from the truck's body for low-level work.
