• Animal exporter Roger Mills has stopped shipping animals through Brightlingsea and switched to Dover.
Brightlingsea animal rights protesters have welcomed Mills' switch, but vow to take their banners with him to Dover.
• Mills has posted a not guilty plea to three animal welf .are charges brought against him by the RSPCA at Lowestoft magistrates court. The RSPCA visited property rented by Milk in June this year and alleges 20 sheep were found suffering from various conditions including foot rot. The case was adjourned to 8 November to set a date for trial.
