Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• German vehicle servicing specialist Dekra has developed a mobile test unit which it plans to use in France, where periodic car tests are due to be introduced next year, in line with EC directives.

Dekra plans to operate a fleet of five vehicles using a specially designed low-bed semi-trailer built by ArbauKlaus of Memmingen.

The trailer, based on a Mercedes-Benz 1320, carries an 8.5m test container which can be lifted off the trailer using hydraulic side-loader cranes. The container includes all the equipment necessary for a full car check including brake tests, exhaust emissions, wheel alignment and shock absorbers.

The side walls and roof of the container can be lifted mechanically to make room for underbody inspection of cars: power is supplied by a 20kW generator mounted on the artic's coupling neck.
