• Al International has bought curtainsider manufacturer Kurtrans Developments for E370,000.
All 23 employees will be kept on at the Telford-based manufacturer, which was previously owned by Ingimex.
Al International, a subsidiary of Hadleigh Industries, says curtainsiders will continue to be sold under the Kurtrans brand name. Kurtrans will also manufacture TIR tilt body kits for Cooks, which is also owned by Al International, The company hopes to take Kurtrans products into Europe: particularly Spain, Germany, Holland and France.
