Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• LEP Swift's expansion into Europe continues with the LEP Group's acquisition of a Dutch distribution company.

Steenbergen specialises in automotive spare parts distribution and runs 60 vehicles from five depots, but LEP Swift managing director Andrew Tidmarsh says the branches at Maastricht, Venlo and Rotterdam will close with a loss of 17 jobs.

"Following the recent acquisitions of Jean Vincent and Maro-Trans in Belgium we now have a total of some 2,000m2 (450,000e) of warehouse facilities in the Benelux countries, with over 100 vehicles," says Tidmarsh. He also

hints that more acquisitions in Central Europe could be "in the pipeline" before the end of the year.

The LEP Group is suing Deloitte, Haskins and Sells for alleged negligence in preparing and auditing the accounts of DPS Holdings, DPS Freight Services, DPS Freight Services (Perishables) and W H Stott in December 1985.
