• "Noise, Dirt and the Diesel" is the title of a one-day conference to be held in London in December which follows last year's conference sponsored .by The Automobile Engineer. Among the speakers will be a representative from the Cummins Noise Technology Group from Columbus, Indiana, and a representative from BP's research centre. Professor Priede, of the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, University of Southampton. will also be speaking.
