• A research system for calculating the fuel consumption of diesel or petrol engines using a sampling revolution counting system is now available from Radiation Ltd of Twickenham.
The system, which is particularly suitable for engine test beds, is manufactured by Jaquet AG of Switzerland. It is essentially a very precise digital tachometer which is linked with an electronic counter and a digital clock. Terminals are provided for a variety of inputs including those from electro-magnetic and ferrostatic transmitters.
