vans has been placed with Besco bodies by the Anglian Water Authority.
The aluminium-framed glass-reinforced plastic box body allows the 7.5-tonnegross weight Cummins-engined 8-12 Roadrunner to carry all equipment including a generator, tools and fittings for a two man gang to repair a burst water main. The tipping body on the rear allows the gang to carry its own supply of tarmac to repair the surface of the road and return without spoil. The vehicle is fitted out with a workbench, gas ring, hot and cold washing facilities and racking
