• Dedicated third party distribution specialist NCCS has signed a new £0.75 million nationwide distribution contract with food manufacturer Henry Teller.
NCCS, part of the National Freight Consortium, will handle all of Northampton-based Teller's distribution: in the past Telfer has used several contractors.
To handle the increased workload NCCS has taken delivery of five new 16tonne Mercedes 1617 rigid freezer boxvans with tailifts to add to the seven Mercedes 1625 32-tonne artics with 12.1m freezer trailers and three 28-tonne Mercedes 1625s already used on the contract.
