I WAS surprised to learn David Browning, of Ray Demountables Ltd, that in h perience the most encoure• sector of the market for bodies was at presen• vehicles of about 31/2 tons g I had thought that they greatest possibilities for I vehicles on trunk runs.
Gas, electricity and wate dertakings in particular are ing small demountables fo bile workshops carr extensive kits of tools and of some three men, who m idle if a vehicle has to be out of service for any re Swop bodies, complete tools, can be transferrei stantly to spare chassis costly labour can, at lea theory, be kept employed.
It would be interestin know how the economics work out.
