WESTERN NATIONAL has lowed British Rail's lead launched a £5 pass giving c fares for the elderly disabled.
Faced with several I authorities' decisions to re or discontinue their own co sionary fares schemes, We National has inaugurated farer, a half-fare bus pass w is available for three-mc periods to men over 65, wo over 60, and the registered E and disabled.
It is valid on most We National or Devon General vices in Cornwall, Dev Somerset, and Dorset after on Mondays to Fridays, am day Saturdays, Sundays public holidays.
The company is also offE the tickets to councils whicl not operate concessionary I schemes, and says th authorities are free .to sell passes to eligible individua any discount they consider propriate,
