Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Nu-Line vehicle immobiliser is now being marketed by J. G. Slaven. The immobiliser consists of a steel block which encases a ratchet wheel and pawl and its engaging mechanism. A lever attached to the ratchet wheel is connected by a link to either the brake or clutch pedal. When the lock button is pressed in, the pawl engages the 'ratchet Wheel and when the pedal is depressed the ratchet keeps it in the depressed position, and can be released only by the immobiliser key. Available from : J. G. Slaven, Lightcliffe House, Pontefract Road, Hemsworth, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, WF9 5LW.
