• There will be only one Trade Vehicle licence from January 1 1970. The Finance Bill, which gives effect to the Budget proposals, revealed this week that a single licence costing £15 for use on all vehicles will replace the present Limited and General licences which cost £12 and £60 respective The new licence will be closer to the present Limited one than the General and in particular will permit the general carriage of goods under trade plates.
