From SPQR Engineering comes an interesting new tappet adjuster. Essentially a practical precision instrument for the motorist or professional mechanic, it enables perfect adjustment of overhead valve engine tappets to be made more quickly than by conventional methods.

The SPQR tappet adjuster will accept any in. drive socket providing it has a fin, clearance bole through its centre. Clearances are determined by letting tappets off a certain number of clicks on the ratchet. Adjustment instructions are carried on the handle for various types of vehicles.
