• Vauxhall has this week issued two of the UK's ever biggest vehicle recalls, affecting some 600,000 vehicles.
All Astra cars and vans, including Astramax models, produced since August 1991 should be taken to a dealer for earthing of the fuel filler; and all Vauxhalls fitted with airbags require an electrical check. fol lowing a German accident in which an airbag failed to work. 7 Axle manufacturer Granning UK has issued a safety bulletin on its 100, 200, 300 and 400Series axles.
