• Sales of commercial vehicles in Europe last year reached 1,689,000 units — the first time the figure has topped 1.6 million. The Economist Intelligence Unit predicts that there will be a 2.6% drop in European demand this year to 1,646,000 units and a 7.5% fall in UK demand to 330,000 units.
