• ERF's high powered 6x4 E8 rigid, launched last September, has made its first entry into the contract hire market through Chart Hire Services. The 182KW Cummins powered truck has entered the fleet of Page Feeds on a five-year contract hire deal.
The vehicle was chosen because it will have to regularly climb the notorious 20% (1-in-5) Blue Bank hill, one of the longest and steepest in the country. The E8 is fitted with an eight metre long Southfields curtainsider body.
